Project Parameter in Schematic Template

I want to add a project parameter in schematic.
I followed the instructions given on altium official page.

But the project parameter doesn't appear in my parameters window.
I tried validating project, but the parameter isn't available to use (as stated on official page that it would be available to use globally throughout the project.)
Help!

What do you mean by Parameters window? I do not really use templates, but I would expect this to work the way, that you can use parameter name in a template but you still may need to define the parameter and its value in your Project -> Project Options -> Parameters
