About connection between edge connector and polygon pour
mulfycrowh , 05-01-2021, 10:40 AM
I use Altium 19.
I noticed that after launching Tools > Polygon Pours > Repour All, Altium doesn't make the connection between one pad of the edge connector and the polygon pour.
The edge connector is made of 3 pads. Two pads are connected. The third one is not connected.
Any idea?
Thanks.

It is hard to tell from the screenshot. But it should work - something is maybe set wrong?

Does the polygon cover the pad?

@qdrives Hi. The polygon doesn't cover the pad. Polygon and pads have the same boundary.
Y = 4 mm for the top and Y = 50 mm for the bottom

Am I correct that pad A2 needs to be connected to the polygon pour shown?
The reason for asking is that you mention 3 pads where two are connected. The picture does not show a component with 3 pads.
Pad A2 is on the edge and Altium shows the unconnected net error marker.
A polygon is only "connected" when it (mostly) covers the pad. Merely touching it will not work.
