Hi Guys,
After many years in PCB design, releasing a new PCB still I have stress "Did I missed a point?"
I have seen many PCBs failed since missed to check all issue, sometimes very simple ones! I use schematic compile, check all messages and treating warning as error, and also using DRC on PCB, it reduced the fail rate. However there are some case that even ERC/DRC is unable to detect, ex: connect a bypass CAP to a power pin but forgot to connect it to power supply, there will be no ERC and also no DRC, but board fails. Another example, when I forgot to add teardrop, PCB is working but quality is not good and reliability is reduced.
So that I am looking for a PCB check list, do you know any?
Probably we can do a brainstorming to setup one for the forum users,
BR,
