How to generate Gerber for Flex PCB with stiffeners

Trying to generate Gerber files for a Flex PCB with stiffeners. In the Geber configuration, the solder mask is the coverlay. But there are separate coverlay layers for each board region (https://i.imgur.com/jNNXPW1.png). They seem redundant but not sure if I should use them to generate the stiffeners. Cannot find any other appropriate layer to generate the stiffeners.

You can draw stiffeners on mechanical layer and just include that layer in manufacturing documents.

question was about how to generate gerber files for the stiffeners

Yes, but that is a manual process. Then having the stiffener in the layer stackup seems pretty useless.

By adding the mechanical layer to the gerber output.

Yes, that I know. But as I already said, it is a manual extra process. Since Altium already has Stiffener in the Layer stack manager, I expected, Altium to use this layer to generate the gerber for stiffener.

You always have to check (and correct) what is exported in gerber. However, you only have to do it once through the JobFile and re-use that jobfile for all other projects.Generating production data does not get the attention it should.Production is delayed and questions asked because designers do not think on what to export. While others just send the whole design and do not consider the IP (Intellectual Property) of it.
