I am learning hardware and pcb design using altium designer through Robert s esp32 video. However in my tool...the windows for components or properties are opening separately and even overlapping the schematic....tried chatgpt for help . couldn't resolve..pls hel

You mean you have floating panels?
If you want to snap them, drag the window by dragging in the title of the panel.
Drag it to where you want it. This can be over another panel.

Yes floating panels...but it is not sticking complete at right side....

you should be able to place it in the top of the properties window and that should create a new TAB in that window
