CSI-2 Implementation on Zynq7000 Board

I want to be able to connect a CSI camera to PL on my custom zynq board I'm making however I'm a bit confused about the implementation. I read https://docs.amd.com/v/u/en-US/xapp894-d-phy-solutions and it seems like the compat resistor method could work but was wondering if anyone had experience with this or have any reference schematics? Also does my PL need to be configured to 1.8V?
