Tand and its effect on Crosstalk

In high-speed PCB designs, does a change in dielectric loss tangent (tan δ) from 0.0020 to 0.0021 have any meaningful impact on crosstalk performance? My understanding, without detailed information about the specific design, is that this difference is negligible and that other factors are likely to have a greater influence on crosstalk and overall signal integrity. In my view, optimization should focus on those factors first. I’d appreciate insights from those with experience in PCB manufacturing and material properties.

So a 5% higher loss...Crosstalk comes (mostly) from the distance between the traces compared to the reference planes(s).

In my experience, loss tangent impacts interconnect loss (insertion loss mostly). If you keep the spacing between traces the same, and maintain impedance, i dont think minimal increase in loss tangent will impact crosstalk.
